    Yahoo and Spam

Does Yahoo check all of the websites that list content and ads on their sites for spam and malicious links? Is the spam coming from clicking on the links, or the links inside the articles. My husband keeps getting lots of spam in his email.

Wheel keeps spinning on web pages

The wheel in the upper left corner keeps spinning on most of the pages I go to on the internet. I have Norton and it is up to date. Is this ok or a signal of a problem?

    Win 10 logon screen

I recently purchased an Asus ZenBook with Windows 10. To login, you have click on the center of the screen where Microsoft show some pretty pictures from all over the world, then enter your pin number. The problem is sometimes I have to click 3 or 4 times before the little box shows up to enter the pin. I tried to turn off the pin but it didn't work. Is there another way to turn off the pin and and the pictures?
  7. I was copying a lot files from one of my computers to my storage disk on the network router. Minutes after finishing the phone range and they said they were from Microsoft and they thought someone was trying to hack into my computer because of all the activity on the router. Could there be a program on my computer that someone is monitoring? We have Norton on all the computers and devices, it is updated.

Print a list of files - Chromebook

Is there a way to print a list files on your Chromebook. Windows will creat a file you name "print or text" or whatever you want to call it. You can print it and I want to do the same on the Chromebook.

Did Microsoft secretly re-install my Win 10 system...?

My computer did this this morning. It took 1 1/2 hours. It scared me because when I walked over to the computer the screen changed (as if someone was watching me) in huge text said "Hi we've got some updates for your pc". There were more messages but I did not write them down.

How to verify wifi data usage

Thanks for your response. I will read the articles. I see one of them is Kim's USA Today article, how timely. My daughterin-law suggested I look at the outside connection to see if someone tapped into my line.
  11. Recently I started looking at my home wifi data. In December my wifi usage almost doubled, and is still higher now than it was prior to December. There are 2 retired people in my house and I am the main wifi user. I stream Netflix or Prime for 2 - 3 hours in the evening. Netflix says that the average is 1 GB per hour. HD can be up to 3 GB per hour. There is no way we could have increased data usage that much! My internet service provider says it is my apps updating, and from their side nothing looks off. I don't have many so it can't be that. Netflix doesn't have a data usage recorder. I changed my password on my Netgear wifi router but nothing changed. The lights on the router seem to be blinking all the time even when all the devices or turned off. What can I do to figure out what is running?
  12. This file seems to be slowing down my laptop. I could not find anything on the internet about this file. The computer is a Dell Inspiron 5000 series with Win 10. Sharon
