Odd Files From IE

Recommended Posts

Here may be a strange issue: I routinely use CCleaner, and find I almost always have several IE files to be deleted. What makes it strange (to me at least) is that I don't use IE. Mostly I use Firefox and occasionally Chrome, so where do these IE files keep coming from?

Even though you think you aren't using IE, you are, or at least parts of it.

Many programs, especially Windows programs (think Windows Update, Windows Media Player, and many more) use IE to function, therefore they leave files for ccleaner to clean up.
