Windows 10 Recovery

Recommended Posts

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO links to a page which gives partial instructions and download to allow creation of a Windows 10 installation medium if you cannot use the Windows 10 media creation tool.

https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows10 is the link for use inside Windows 10 with the media creation tool.

Thanks.  I now am using Windows built in Recovery Drive to create a USB recovery.  My desktop only required a 16GB thumbdrive, but my laptop requred a 32GB.  is there any way to reduce the size needed?  I went through and removed any restore points and any previous windows versions.

The Recovery Drive is to take you back before your change to Windows 10.  No you probably can't reduce the size much, and there is  possibility that your efforts actually increased the size of the recover image.
